UPDATE: June 17, 2013
About a week ago, a horrible wildfire wiped out hundreds of homes and turned a beautiful neighborhood north of Colorado Springs into a war zone. Military aircraft dive-bombed homes with buckets of water and retardant. Uniformed firefighters stood their ground, battling the flames, saving house after house. Anxious families living out of a car, or a suitcase, or a box, waited to find out if they had a home or not. Now the flames are (mostly) out, and families (mostly) know. Rebuilding structures, homes, and lives begins. I'm planning a special event to raise funds for these families. Please check back for details.
